OK, so it wasn't my last post!
I stuck with Tiger all the way till he was caught on voice mail trashing his marriage, humiliating his wife on voice mail to his mistress.
Such a lousy, low class - to say nothing of stupid - thing to do.
Apparently his wife, Elin, has received a 6 figure money account in her own name. Good for her.
God knows what happens now. For the sake of the marriage and the children I hope they can patch things up. I hope Elin can learn to trust him or any man again. If she can't, she's got a fat cushion of dough to help see her through the heartbreak. She's young, beautiful and rich. She'll make it.

I don't know the lady...but she could also be a money hungry type who saw an opportunity and went for it.  She was an au-pair and was introduced to Tiger right before she was supposed to be sent back to Sweden.  Still, nothing justifies a cheat..but he shouldv'e thought with his brain.
Jeez, why would anyone think Tiger's Elin was a trophy wife or a money hungry wife??? There's no evidence of any of that. She was a young, beautiful au-pair introduced to Tiger by another golfer. They fell in love and married. The had two children. Tiger is the villian here. She's a victim. Fortunately, she's got good attorneys.

The mistress must be madly in love with Tiger to throw him to the Lions.

Elin's problem will be trying to identify an attorney or adviser who isn't compromised by the influence and money of Team Tiger. On the other hand, based on their handling of this crisis, Team Tiger must be a bunch of halfwits. Now he has bimbos coming out of the woodwork, lining up for a tabloid payday. It's bad, but it promises to get a whole lot worse.

Seriously....  Why is this even a big story?

We have US soldiers dying every day in Iraq and Afghanistan and the MSM is focused on Tiger?

Talk about ****ed up priorities.

No one should ever speak or think of anything except our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's ****ed up to do otherwise.

ESPN Radio was playing a soundbite from Jesper Parnavik this morning apologizing to Elin for introducing them.

I wonder how much the PGA is going to clamp down on cat-calls from the galleries next season? Maybe, that "gentleman" Tiger will have Steve Williams snatch a camera out a fan's hands and will be throwing clubs at them, like he did at the Barclay's Championship last season, with more frequency this season...

I heard that on the Golf Channel last night when I got home.  Jesper is always one to speak his mind, but I was still kind of surprised.

Also meant to post last night that the Golf Channel apparently went wall-to-wall with Tiger.  They kept repeating their half-hour long "special report" throughout the night. :whatever:

Hey, it's the Golf Channel. What did you expect? This is the most salacious story to hit the industry since....well, ever. LOL.

It's pretty much a Tiger love-fest 24/7 normally, which is why I don't watch it a lot anyway.

Tiger should have left his balls on his own course

The thing about her going after him reminded me of this from an old NCIS episode:

Kate: "You know, I bet this is why number two came after you with a nine-iron, wasn't it? You just refused to sit down and talk things through."

Gibbs: "Actually, that wasn't it at all."

Kate: "Oh. So, what was it then?"

Gibbs: [grinning] "Seven-iron."

If he keeps going off course, he may wake up with a disqualification because of no balls.

What's the difference between a golf ball and an SUV?

Tiger can drive a golf ball almost 400 yards.  :rotf:
