I hear Durex has outbid Trojan for Tiger's contract, and is building a blimp. The adverts will show Tiger skillfully  piloting the Durex shaped limp skillfully into a suggestively shaped hanger while suitable backround music ( Barry White?) is played. To be shown at the newly sponsored Dural - Duren "open"....... :thatsright: :cheersmate:

You're reading into his statements way too much, just like he wants you to. It's posturing.

But that's normal these days in this culture - we no longer judge a man by his character... only by what he says in a press conference. That's how we got Obama, remember?

Tiger screwed the pooch... If he wanted reconciliation with his family, he would have stopped cheating before he got married.

Ah, you're talking about a perfect man. He was a playboy, Think Warren Beaty, Bill Clinton, Geore Clooney, etc. Tiger got caught...big time. Had to choose; family or profession golf with bimbo eruptions. He chose family. Everyone's free to think of it as positive or negative... :whatever:

He only has the appearance of choosing family BECAUSE he got caught... We don't know what's happening behind the scenes.

Please don't martyr the guy. It's already happening in the press. He's not a victim - his family are the victims.

Exactly, he doesn't care. Women in every major airport hub is not a "happenstance". He continued doing this AFTER he was married and AFTER his wife gave birth. The only thing he cares about is if he will lose more money because of this.

Tigre will be a good boy....

for awhile.

Soon that eye will wander again and his lil brain will start out screaming the big brain and he'll give in.
He's already proved he's incapable of being trusted around a willing woman.

Tiger can be trusted. To live out his teen fantisies of willing, attractive women fauning over him and bedding him. Funny how a wallet that is so high you are in danger of injury if you fall off it attracts these situations.......However, he will be more careful, for a while.

I hope he has hit a turning point and despite his fame can give his family what they deserve in the way of a father and husband.

I suspect it may be a cooling off, hope the press gets bored with it and then come back later as the repentant family man.

As far as his wife is concerned I can`t guess and know there are ladies that stay with cheating husbands.
Given the nature of the revelations I would give 50/50 odds that she is just as interested in maintaining a luxurious lifestyle as much as she is in having a faithful husband.
She doesn`t want a damaged goods Tiger so will return at his side when he comes back to public life, most likely in the spring.

Very cynical I guess but you always have to keep in mind that folks like these live such a different life then we do the normal thought patterns we have don`t apply.

This is to save the gene pool.  I don't ever remember a time when flying cross country that everyone flew together.

George Clooney isn't married.

Has been frequently interviewed where he says he will not get married again.

Technically....he can sleep with whomever he wants too....he's not breaking any vows to anyone.
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.

Derek Jeter is often mentioned as a comparable to Tiger in the sports world...a superstar, of mixed race, but Jeter is single.  I don't live in New York, but I guess whoever his latest gal is makes big headlines frequently in the papers there.

I have heard several talking heads on ESPN compare the two.....that Tiger was too young to get married without ever doing the party animal/stud muffin act that most other young sports super gazillionaires do.

I think his father and mother had a lot to do with Tiger getting married as young as he did.....his father had a tremendous amount of influence on Tiger and I'm sure the depression that he went through losing his father has also triggered some of his behavior.

Not excusing any of it....but it is a reasonable explanation for his stupidity....

I have never cheated on my wife, but gave up golf about three weeks ago anyway. I will resume playing in the spring, and so will Tiger.
I'll still have my three-putts, and he'll still have bimbos. This "leaving golf indefinitely" is just another con.

Just to clarify - Tiger got married in his late 20's...I wouldn't call that young...relatively for getting married, that is.

I don't understand anyone who cheats on their spouse.  Of course this goes into a completely different discussion.  I was nowhere perfect in my own marriage, but I NEVER cheated.

That's what my other half said....and that Tiger was always pretty open about wanting a family.

I'm sorry....but if he was ready to get married....he wouldn't be screwing anyone that stood still long enough.

Heard this afternoon he was up to 16 since he's been married..... ::)

Wonder what kind of vitamins he's taking.... :uhsure:

I heard 16 yesterday afternoon....can't remember what show it was, but I remember the guy telling it was with TMZ or People, US Weekly....one of those....and he could hardly keep a straight face!!  He said the women were just coming out of the "wood"work so to speak...even hookers uh - high priced escorts....
