Yeah, but it's still the same whiny, "Woe is me, I'm too good for you/this/life" or "I'm the only TRUE conservative" bullshit.
Yeah, he's lib through and through...I told him where an Electronics degree could earn him double minimum wage, and he didn't even respond.  Not worth the time it takes to read his posts.   ::)

I agree with you, marv. I'm really enjoying the ass-whoopin' this DUmbshit is getting, especially from sea. It proves Rule #37: Don't go talkin' shit about WalMart around sea!

High five for "even failures can be useful as bad examples".

It appears in the face of difficult questions of both fact and political leanings, the OP has fled.

I'm gonna love this when wasp weighs in. Trust me, snaz, your ass will be sucking buttermilk.

Thanks for the vote, Euph, but, really, why bother?  This DUmbtard can't stand to get sweaty (if it is to be believed), so what would be the point of shredding its sorry ass?  If it wants a job sitting behind a computer, one would think it would be smart enough to understand the necessity of proper grammar without me having to say it out loud.

Then again, I have to wonder why this leftard twit hasn't thought to apply with the government?  It has all of the qualifications:  Liberal, lazy, self righteous, entitled, borderline illiterate, bullshit degree...  Shit, I know GS 12 and 13 program heads that are all of those things.  I think this DUmmie troll is, in all actuality, perfectly qual'd to step right into a cabinet level position with its president.

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

True 'nuff, but sometimes you just have to sharpen the talons. This ****tard doesn't have what it takes for a cabinet level gig, even for Barry. Despite his insistence on undeserved entitlements, his demonstrated laziness, and his complete and total failure to be a man with a pair of balls, he still has the ambition of a dead snail. Say what you want about Barry and his 'tards, they are an ambitious lot.

its amazing how badly ppl can misinterpret what someone else says on here. first off, i'm not complaining about my situation, i said its better than what i had before. apparently none of you have REALLY hated a job before and you merely "do as you're told" like establishment republicans tell you to do. in other news, today it has been very windy and cold (what else is new in winter time right?)  i found a couple of jobs to apply for on craigslist. one is at my old college. its a sitting down job too.. God how nice would that be. anddd i have been following the Ukraine issue. found some videos of whats going on over there and all i can say.. if you think that it cant happen here, you're only lying to yourself. oh, the reason i dont respond on sundays is because the library is closed around here. i am amused to see you all turn on one of your own kind though. k gotta go, gonna get ready to apply for these jobs and then later, i think it's gonna be nap time for me. i have taken naps since i was in HS. naps are great. k  bye  :cheersmate:

Let me break down my entire take on whatever it is you are trying to say/do/whatever:

But don't mistake the disgust and contempt you are getting from the decent, civilized people of The Cave with anything other than disgust and contempt.

Does this help, troll?

Hello all, i'm new here and wasnt quite sure if this belonged in this part or not, but i have a question concerning jobs. do all of you on here work?? and if so, how do you feel about people who cant find a job today??

I suppose that when you misrepresent yourself with your very first opening question, then you shouldn't accuse others of misinterpreting the meaning and motivation of your question.

Had you said "How do you feel about people who are more than qualified to work, but because they don't want to *gasp* work hard, CHOOSE to be homeless and live off other people's sweat until they can find themselves some cushy cubicle job where they can just sit on their ass all day and collect their paycheck”, you would have saved us all a great deal of time and trouble, and I’m sure our responses would have been more germaine to your actual situation. You would have shown yourself, from the beginning, as the leach and POS that you truly are.

As far as any political party is involved with controlling what I do, well, congratulations on your Socialist Demigod Obama, because it seems the harder I work, the more he steals out of my pocket to help fund your lazy, irresponsible, blame everybody but yourself, shitty attitude self.

And you claim to be a conservative. No, scooter, you are no conservative. And no "establishment Republican" tells me what to do. My morals tell me what to do. My values tell me what to do. My family obligations tell me what to do. Needing to put a roof over my family’s head and food in my children's mouths tells me what to do. Those are conservative values. Not expecting anything more than the hard work I put into something, that is a conservative value. Self sufficiency is a conservative value. Self-preservation is a conservative value. Helping someone get a leg-up when they are going through a rough time is definitely a conservative value, as you have seen in the first page of this thread, even.

But when that someone CHOOSES to be in the Helpless Class, as I like to call it, someone much like yourself as you have later detailed, then my sympathy for you ends, and you can FOAD.

Is that clear enough for you?

When we are motivated by goals that have deep meaning, by dreams that need completion, by pure love that needs expressing -- then we truly live life.

 Hey snaz, I have a cool sit down job in a plush cube. Its still a lot of work. You couldn't cut even that.

~~ so, where are you sleeping tonight? On the street? or in mom's basement?

So, hard work and grit in less than perfect circumstances=kowtowing to overlords?  I guess you are doing hat you are told by your Communist Elitists.

We all had jobs we didn't like.  Some still do.  Others got off their asses and developed a skill-set that let them get lucrative jobs we enjoy.  Grinding it out to take care of your family is as noble as using time and resources and risk to look for that better opportunity.

No way are you 41 -- more like 21 at the most and 11 more than likely.

as an electronic tech, i did such things as component level repair on handheld radios for first responders, software verification, field service, and testing and programming radios. i never really liked it so when i was layed off, i wasnt that upset. as far as other jobs that i have had, they never lasted very long and i wouldnt do those kinds of jobs again anyway. i went back to college so that i could get a decent job AKA not one where i have to stand all day or weld. i worked for a place called Areva, and we built nuclear fuel for different plants and we had to do a small amount of welding on them which meant getting certified. wont do that any more. thats why i dont have any job skills currently because all hte jobs i have had i hated and that was why i went to school so that i wouldnt ever have to do that kind of work again. better to be homeless than to wake up mad everyday that i actually woke up because i hated my jobs so much. as for dignity, well.. we lost that a good while back. at this point, its all about survival really. just trying to make the hours go by, thats why i'm on here. boredom will drive a man to do just about anything.

BSed for the above.

I was about to ask you where you are located as we are always looking for electronic techs, but your attitude showed me that you would not do well with me.

My advice is to get into some sort of housing, pick up broken, scrap electronic lots on eBay, fix them, flip.  Buy more with the money instead of blowing it on drugs/alcohol/garbage.  If you only have ten bucks, find something you can turn a profit with that ten bucks.  In a very short time, you will be able to support yourself and be your own boss.  Start your OWN company, then you won't have to worry about hating your boss, job, co-worker, et al.

When I was laid off in 2008, instead of collecting unemployment, I went straight to eBay and did the above.  I also bought lots and singled them out.  Parted out computers, cellphones, etc to companies that needed the parts...  It wasn't long before I was making as much as I was in my previous job.  It was HARD, little sleep, my family ate mostly beans, but by golly; I didn't sit on my ass and wait for the gubmint to take care of us.  I had a family to feed.  You need to get off your butt, stop whining, get a game plan, and execute.

Sorry.  No sympathy at all from me.

I just can't imagine not being able to find work.

One year I made more than $100K.  The company downsized and I believe one should work and I did not want to live on my savings.  I delivered coal to houses that use it in an old 60s, three on the tree Chevy pickup, swept a construction company shop and cleaned tools, cleaned a rental for a guy where the first layer of filth required a putty knife to get off.

Was any of that related to my degree?  No.  Did it help my attitude and health?  Yes.  Was some of it motivating to spur me to get the work I preferred? You bet.

Ladies and gentlemen, please rise for the Snazbo National Anthem:

THE BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAINS

One evening as the sun went down
And the jungle fires were burning,
Down the track came a hobo hiking,
And he said, "Boys, I'm not turning
I'm headed for a land that's far away
Besides the crystal fountains
So come with me, we'll go and see
The Big Rock Candy Mountains

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains,
There's a land that's fair and bright,
Where the handouts grow on bushes
And you sleep out every night.
Where the boxcars all are empty
And the sun shines every day
And the birds and the bees
And the cigarette trees
The lemonade springs
Where the bluebird sings
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains.

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains
All the cops have wooden legs
And the bulldogs all have rubber teeth
And the hens lay soft-boiled eggs
The farmers' trees are full of fruit
And the barns are full of hay
Oh I'm bound to go
Where there ain't no snow
Where the rain don't fall
The winds don't blow
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains.

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains
You never change your socks
And the little streams of alcohol
Come trickling down the rocks
The brakemen have to tip their hats
And the railway bulls are blind
There's a lake of stew
And of whiskey too
You can paddle all around it
In a big canoe
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains,
The jails are made of tin.
And you can walk right out again,
As soon as you are in.
There ain't no short-handled shovels,
No axes, saws nor picks,
I'm bound to stay
Where you sleep all day,
Where they hung the jerk
That invented work
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains.
....
I'll see you all this coming fall
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains
Government is the negation of liberty.

Morning folks!! its another great day, although colder than yesterday. the wind isnt blowing as much though which is good because it was coldddd last nite. i wanna say first.. KUDO's to PURPLE SAGE. that person was the FIRST to actually give an idea of what to do. THATS the kind of answers i was looking for to begin with. in other news, its still winter, cold, and this library sure does seem to like it warm in here, not that i'm complaining. i have found that around 4-5 in the morning is when the cold gets to me. after that, it only gets better each day knowing i'm not doing shit work like some commenters have said they had to do. as to having a family, i dont have a family to worry about, thank goodness. i gave that up when i decided to quit my first job i had after getting out of the military. i quit that God awful job, the worst job i have ever had and i sold my house, all my cars and bike, got rid of the other half and have NEVER looked back.

you should always learn from an experience.... i learned to take care of me, number one, myself and not get bogged down in crap like buying a house with a 30 yr mortgage when you know you wont have a job for no 30 yrs. being homeless and without a crappy job and always thinking about how much you hated he last few jobs you had = better than working a job you hate, coworkers you hate, having to worry about bills all the time, and not doing a job that matters. manufacturing jobs = do NOT matter. NOONE ever got rich running a machine for 8 hrs that went da duk, da duk, da duk. so keep on keeping on you establishment republicans, wasting your lives on never getting anywhere that matters in life. i'll keep on sitting here at the library, enjoying life.

i do have to ask however.. how much DO you people hate life?? i'm sure its quite a bit. i know if i had to put up with the crap you people do, i would be REALLLLLLYYYYY angry all the time.

For this and a million other reasons is why I love ya, babe.  :2ndbase:
