Take heart....half the country didn't vote for Obama. If he keeps his scorch and burn policies in effect, even some of his worshipers will get scared too and finally open their eyes.
I can't help but bring up Rand Paul's filibuster here. One of our biggest problems is we don't have any real leadership right now and the media never says anything about conservative views outside of trying to make us look bad. Rand wanted a question about Obama having the authority to use drones on American citizens answered. He was ignored as a sitting Senator. When Holder finally did answer Rand (after a threat to filibuster) Holder said he felt that Obama did have the authority. Well, that's when Rand went to the floor of the Senate and started the filibuster. If he had not done that, would the American people even know about the drone policy? The media wouldn't have reported it, but they didn't have a choice after Rand made a spectacle of it. Just like fast and furious and Benghazi gate. How many Americans really know what happened there and how Holder and Obama have been hiding and blocking information from those in position to have oversight?
It's like we have no real leadership or a strong voice, a unified message or anyway for it to be heard and taken seriously. But I'm hoping Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Rubio, Olmert and others follow their courage to speak up and to get out there and fight. Graham and McCain be dammned.
You mentioned Reagan. Read his 1975 C-Pac speech after the loss to Jimmy Carter. It could have been written today.

The only people paying attention to Rand Paul is his dad, Dr. Nutz, and those who are truly interested in the medical anomaly of how a middle-aged man can actually hold his urine for almost 13 hours.
The low information voter still doesn't have a clue about the drone bullshit, and it is bullshit because for a smart guy, Holder doesn't know how to write a letter that makes it clear that ENEMY COMBATANTS are legal targets for the president no matter where they are -- in the country or outside the country.
Al Lawaki qualified as an enemy combatant due to his al Qaeda connection. Ergo, he needed to die.
Whether the sumbitch was in Yemen or in the suburbs of Buffalo shouldn't matter a whit.
Neither should his status as an American.
I like the way GWB put it -- "Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists."
Short, simple, and to the point. Drones or no drones.
