I'm with DAT with this even though I voted no. None have shown the ability to have a decent discussion before when they have come here or to the old home.  If they come here that is their choice. How they behave is the same and they are sadly lacking in both manners and intellegence

Is there a way to limit obvious trolls like Sam Dodd to only one forum like Mind Numbing Stupidity?

If they could read the forum but only post on MNS, that might send a message. The only way out would be to hold a serious conversation. Not that that would ever happen.

This is about primitives who come here and follow the rules.

I don't see why it's all that big of a deal if they were to come here as if they needed to be banned or such the mods here are very good.

The worst thing this forum could be is like DU, where anyone with differing opinions gets banned. I mean we all know what happens to someone if you claim you're conservative over there. I mean my opinions are vastly different from many others here yet I'm still here.

I think it's good to have a mixture of people and while a lot of Du'ers might not contribute anything useful (should they sign up), one can hope someday one of them will.

As long as they're within the rules I don't see a huge problem.

As long as they're within the rules I don't see a huge problem.

It's not even a minuscule problem if a primitive follows the rules, not at all.

But they put some on edge--including myself--because being primitives, sooner or later they're likely to freak on us, making a mess of the DUmpster.

Primitives are like bananas--they go bad real quick.

I voted yes.  I don't see where it's been a problem, but I'm not here every day.  What I have seen is the Mods quickly swooping in and taking care of any trouble. The Trolls are tiresome, but a Troll is not necessarily a Primitive.

I'm not out to change anyone's mind.  They can learn or not, mature or not, see reality or not; it's up to them.  Maybe I've just learned to tolerate them since I'm surrounded by liberal family members.  I don't try to change them and they know they aren't going to change me. 

I hope this wasn't prompted by my welcome to CC to LVL.  It was an automatic greeting followed by a statement about some Primitives up for DOTY.  There was no secret agenda or yearning for understanding involved.

This poll was prompted by some long-time members who for various reasons are uncomfortable having primitives here.  Myself, having moles on Skins's island, have felt the same discomfort.

It's just for discussion only, I guess, a "heads up" to those who aren't aware.

There's no contemplated change in policy; as long as a primitive follows the rules, and they all appear to be following the rules, there's no plans to ban them.  They can breathe easily.

Although primitives, like bananas, can turn bad rather quickly.
