We all know how the Bostonian Drunkard posts something, and then goes away, expecting the primitives to humbly and gratefully lap up whatever he just posted.
Sometimes the Bostonian Drunkard hangs around, to get engaged with the other primitives adoring his work, but not usually.
franksolich a long time ago--when the big guy was a toddler and franksolich still a nursing infant in diapers, practically--that it's rude to just say something and leave. If one wants to have meaningful conversation and discussion, one hangs around to hear the reactions of others, and to react to the reactions.
(Hint: it's also a good way to keep one's threads moving.)
This might be why the big guy's campfires gather so little flame; the primitives already know he's not going to respond anyway, so why bother to comment?
