Today...Arctic air will begin to filter into Texoma in the afternoon today. Highs in the lows 50s, cloudy skies, and calm Northerly winds.
Looking Ahead...A strong winter storm expected to move into Texoma overnight tonight into Tuesday morning. Beginning as a cold rain and transitioning to freezing rain, sleet, and eventually all snow by mid morning Tuesday. A glazing of ice and high winds will create hazardous road conditions and possible power outages. Central and North Central OK can expect upwards of 8" of snow accumulation with lesser amounts to the south. Coupled with the winter weather, sub-zero wind chills in the forecast for the next few days.
