Then it ain't gonna get above freezing until sometime Saturday or later!! These houses down here aren't built for that kind of weather.

I saw a very strange site a few years ago when the snow got heavy on our roofs.

This is in NH not Maine mind you.

The Police officer that lived behind me had a roof where the pitch was less then most of the his neighbors and he had much more snow and ice on his roof them the rest of us.  This was a sunday morning early and most the neighborhood were home when we began to hear yelling from his direction.   Curious as to why the Cop and family were yelling most of us went out to see a group of men hoisting a small snow blower up to his roof.  They proceded to clean off the snow and send a few shingles flying in all directions.  :stoner:  Had to be drugs even a drunk knows enough to do that.

Just went onto NECN website and caught their weather forecast.

I'm right smack friggin dab in the middle of the "heavy" band of 12-20+.  Throw that in with Tuesday's snow, and I'm looking at 20-30 inches by Thursday.  FML.

On top of the 4+ feet you already have -- snow mounds up to 7-8 ft high.   There is no where to put this stuff.   It sucks.

The ice scares me too.   Still dealing with post traumatic stress from the last ice storm a few years ago.   Not looking forward to this at all.

ARCTIC AIR & WINTRY WEATHER TONIGHT

Today...Arctic air will begin to filter into Texoma in the afternoon today.  Highs in the lows 50s, cloudy skies, and calm Northerly winds.

Looking Ahead...A strong winter storm expected to move into Texoma overnight tonight into Tuesday morning.  Beginning as a cold rain and transitioning to freezing rain, sleet, and eventually all snow by mid morning Tuesday. A glazing of ice and high winds will create hazardous road conditions and possible power outages. Central and North Central OK can expect upwards of 8" of snow accumulation with lesser amounts to the south. Coupled with the winter weather, sub-zero wind chills in the forecast for the next few days.

Highs in the low 50's.  Sheesh.  I haven't seen 50 in over a month.  That includes your IQ, big boy.  I've seen 40+ a whopping 7 DAYS since the first of December.  4 of those days were around New Years where we had a "heat wave".

But nice to see you're getting a little breeze eventually.  Nice reminder of why you left MN.

That looks like what it says for central Illinois, too. WTF?  We have a mix of snow and freezing rain coming down with about a 1/2 inch on the roads so far.
