Operation Minnesota Nice is my preferred place.  I also have a friend's daughter serving. 

I have found that when I get the Amazon free shipping (~$80 a year for shipping, and have really saved with that) things can be shipped directly to a soldier instead of shipping it to myself and repackaging and re-mailing.

My very conservative and common sense minded mother was scared out of her mind that her only child joined the Navy.  But, she was very proud that her son volunteered himself to defend our country.

This very conservative and common sense minded Navy retiree has a son who joined the Army.  Scares me out of my mind that he might get hurt.  But, I told him to pay close attention to his senior NCOs, give them everything he's got, and keep his wits about him at all times.  I am very proud that he volunteered himself to defend our country.
