Forcing medication isn't anything new. If you are a patient in a hospital and you refuse medication, they can restrain you and force you to take it.
Nurses force medication on people all the time, now they are complaining when it happens to them?
I know someone who was in a psychiatric hospital. He's bi-polar, they forced him to take the most awful medication (risperdal) which gave him many side effects and generally made him feel like sh*t. When he got out of the hospital he stopped taking the awful medication, saw a private psychiatrist and is now taking Seroquel--and he has no side effects.
In a psychiatric hospital, if you refuse taking medication, they will strap you down and force it down your throat.
Same in a regular hospital too, most of the time.
Last time I was in a hospital, I refused to take a shot. The nurses ganged up on me and told me that if I didn't take it they would restrain me.
You lose your freedom when you enter a hospital because of the nurses. So I don't feel sorry for these nurses at all.
