There were NO coverups...... I don't exactly "dress up" to go to the store, but for crying out loud, at least I don't look like I just came in from the field or go someplace half naked. ( I will admit that I've had to run to the auto parts store, looking like a grease monkey from time to time)

I wouldn't wear a shirt like that and me wearing it wouldn't bring about nightmares to those reading it. It's called class. I have a feeling this is a shirt for a business though trying to play on words, but still...geez!

I lie...I shopped in one in Dawsonville Georgia which was spotless and beautiful....near my vacation home,   But I stand by my statement when it comes to any other location.

What you've described is immaturity. I got over 'shocking' people when I was a teenager and would dye my hair funky colors and wear ton up fishnets with combat boots. Its a pity a 60 year old man still gets off onthose things.

As for the heavy person in inappropriate clothing. I do think it's a self-esteem issue, but I think someone ONE TIME may have told them they looked good...maybe someone who loved them or wanted to screw them and they sadly continue to wear something like that in public thinking they look 'hot'. I know a number of heavy gals over the year whose heads were so inflated they actually thought they were the shit in things you'd only want to see on a Brazilian beach girl. Girls who maybe were shapely once and now are huge and still think they are the same size they were and are living in the past.

I took out clothes I used to wear over 2 years ago. I knew I was heavy, but I didn't know I was that heavy and now I think I'm bigger then what I am(and that's from MANY sources, not just my own assessment). They body image people have sometimes doesn't catch up with the reality on both sides of the weight gain/loss spectrum.

Wish I had a camera today. I took my mom to the nearest Wal Mart to get her eyeglasses fixed after she stepped on them this morning. When we got there someone had parked a homebuilt flatbed pickup with more crap packed on it then anyone should have been allowed to own and none of it was tied down to keep it from falling off the edges. I told my mom that "It looked like Jed and Granny Clampett must have pulled up"

You just reminded me of something I saw last year.  It was there for several days at least and I did have a camera.  The following Picture was taken in a Walmart parking lot.  Granted it was closer to the Sam's Club side, but still.



Yes, that is a truck with camper and the leveling legs are extended.

You know really...the only place I'd dare wear something like that is to workout, but it would have a short tank under it and appropriate workout pants, not a thong and a standard bra. She's not got a terrible figure, but seriously, even being in shape doesn't mean you can wear anything. Some things still look trashy  no matter how good one's bod is. Geez!
