Is the old adage, "No shirt, no shoes, no service" a thing of the past anymore? Do people really walk into any public store, service, or entity dressed like a homeless person in Bangkok?Don't answer that.
What disturbs me is that in the decades those signs have been around, no one's ever considered adding "no pants" to the stipulations. Apparently we can walk into these places with our junk hanging out and they are obligated to serve us.
Was eating at a local Whataburger a couple of weeks ago. A Family was in there eating inside, their children clothed in swimsuits and flip-flops. So, yes, people DO come into stores dressed like bums and indigents.
