I didn't like McCains responses on health care or mortgages.

I think he has alienated a lot of conservatives on those two issues.

Did anyone notice the way Obama pronounces "Taliban"....is almost exactly the same way that Harry Belafonte pronounced "tally man"?

Oh, wait.    *ahem*  "That is racist, young lady, and you should be ashamed of yourself."

You have a stronger stomach than I, sir.

I make myself do it.  I just want to see where they are after a debate.  but I have to listen to an hour of lunacy to see if I can find a single decent point.

Does Obama understand the rules of a town hall debate at all?? :mental:
He doesn't care---rules are for McCain, not the annointed one. He's like a spoiled brat.

I flipped to MSNBC and saw rachel maddow.  I flipped back to foxnews, and got the knob turners.  now THERE is a hell of a choice. :-)

I'm thinking we either need a miracle......or .....maybe when many people actually get in the voting booth - and no one knows how they really vote......they will not vote for a black man named Barrack Hussein Obama....not in this day of wondering just who are the terrorists.

I think he would have had a better chance had his name been Barry Smith.

I sure was hoping to see a little more fire out of McCain tonight.  He doesn't act like a man that wants to win.

Yeah, you're right. I threw my little stress ball that looks like a hand grenade that I got at a tech show at Scott AFB at the screen at those "unbiased" folks.

I got Obama in the nose on my screen when he was looking particularly smug.  :-)

My poor digital, I have to stop doing this, but it feels so good.

He has to be careful as he has been painted as a man with anger issues.

I am going to have to try the "throw the stressball at obama" thing.  that sounds like it would be very stress relieving.

ALERT : charles krauthammer is next on foxnews.  you don't wanna miss him . . .

He should be able to exhibit enthusiasm/passion when making his points without coming off as angry.  IMO he came off as lack luster tonight.

You don't win by laying down and playing nice.  I know McCain knows how to play hard ball, he's done it enough times in the senate (against his own party).  Perhaps he just can't do it against the other party?

I am sure that we will see more of Sarah Palin in the future, regardless of who wins in november.  that's one thing john mccain did accomplish.

I think McCain comes from a different generation.  But I could be wrong.  My aunt (Dad's older sister) is his age and retired as a Lt. Col. and she's as fiesty as ever.  She just needs a little help carrying her groceries up from the garage.

(kidding.  I love you, Aunt Joan).

If I was McCain, I'd have punched that mother****er in the mouth by now.

obama:

Quote
But we can't just provide moral support. We've got to provide moral support to the Poles and Estonia and Latvia and all of the nations that were former Soviet satellites. But we've also got to provide them with financial and concrete assistance to help rebuild their economies. Georgia in particular is now on the brink of enormous economic challenges. And some say that that's what Putin intended in the first place.

I suppose it's a minor quibble, but poland wasn't really a soviet client state after about the mid 70's, I thought.  poland certainly didn't belong in the same sentence as latvia and estonia, especially since they were both part the russia since the days of the old russian empire.

Hannity is talking with Fred Thompson now about the debate.  Personally I would rather see Hannity talking with McCain about the Obama Thompson debate...but I digress. :hammer:

All things considered, I would rather see McCain talking with Hannity.  WTF.

This guy thinks his "people" are going to handle the media.  He needs to step up.
