There is this thing called a General Election this November.

They are likely talking to donors, potential donors and party poobahs, but none has declared. What about you all stop this but what if my favorite candidate (who has yet to declare) runs... well, until after the Generals in 2014. I know this is silly talk from a local political\policy reporter, but damn it... that 2014 election matters.

Oh I expect this to be ignored, but really had to get it off my chest, truly.

We are talking after the generals in November. Yes, six months is January of 2015. I am sorry my shadow has a problem with the ****ing calendar. I must say, my shadow is hilarious at times...this is one of them.

Stooooopid question time ........ the 2014 Congressional election is in just under 5 months, so why would any R or D Presidential candidate wannabe steal the oxygen from the Congress critters they hope will support them in the 2015-2016 Primaries campaign? Even BHO wasn't quite that egotistical and narcissistic!

I know I'm waiting to at least the first of the year to decide whether or not I'm going to run. It'll be a tough decision. I've already got all of this fictional spirit-guiding on my plate. Add to that, the fact that I started this pretend reporting gig, and I'm pretty swamped so I don't know if I'll even have time to campaign.

I am working on some of the planks in my platform just in case.

1) Free stuff. This will include a frank detector that will let you know if franksolich is within a 100 yard radius of you. Granted, at this time the technology does not exist to thwart frank's ninja skills, but I'm sure if enough of somebody else's money is thrown at it I'll be able to go to some tropical resort to work on the idea.
2) Limiting frank's ownership of the net. This will require frank to relinquish ownership of at least CU to someone else.
3) Force Fox News to change their name to Faux Nooz.
4) Require all TV sets to come with Faux Nooz pre-blocked with an annual $100 fee to anyone who unblocks the channel.
5) Frogmarch a bush. Yes, it will just be an azalea bush, but at least a bush will finally get frogmarched.
