So many lies.
Well, what bothers me is Skippy's attitude, and alas it's a pretty common attitude; "if insurance won't pay for it, I won't have it done, even though it's necessary."
The more common examples are of where primitives say "well, because my insurance won't cover dental costs, I'm going to let my teeth rot" or "well, because my insurance won't cover vision costs, I'm going to let my eyes go to Hell."
The primitives say that quite a bit.
It's scary; one can always find money, but one can't grow a new set of teeth or new eyes, or in Skippy's case, get a new brain.
How to pay for something can be figured out later; medical decisions should be based upon necessity, and necessity only.
