You shave a whistle?

That explains the phrase, "slick as a whistle"!

Norelco electric. Unfortunately, my wife discovered it's ability to shave very, very well. I never knew just how quickly "down there" could dull blades.  :panic:

Used to "dry shave" with a Mach 3.  Used to go through a cartridge in about 3 shaves.  :whatever:

For Christmas, the hawtest woman on the planet went to The Art of Shaving and got me their starter kit - a badger hair brush, jar of shave cream, pre-shave essential oils, and after shave balm.  Now, shaving 3x a week, I get a cleaner shave faster (I'm not spending as long knocking stubble clogs out of the blades) and my cartridges will last 3-4 weeks, on average.

Something I haven't seen in a long, long time, a brush and shaving mug. My dad had one when I was a kid. Him and mom saved or used up everything including little bits of the leftover bars of soap...smaller than those motel bars. Those small pieces went in his shaving mug and he whipped up shaving cream from them with the brush.

There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Then my dad would use Electric Shave . . .by Mennon (didn't matter if he used his electric razor or brush/soap/safety razor). Always had a styptic pen around too. That sure came in handy when I would nick my leg as a teen -- stung but stopped the bleeding quickly. If he was going somewhere "fancy", he'd break out the Old Spice  :-)

Gillete Fusion Pro Glide. Only way to go. Honestly the smoothest shave I've ever had, and the razors last quite a while. They should with how expensive they are. 9.97 for a pack of 4 I think it is. I go with the cooling shave gel, too. Also get that hot scrub for before shaving and the cooling gell for after. Lasts quite a while though, so the expense is only occasional.

I use a Venus razor. It lasts about 5 shaves fir me abs that's pits, legs, and  :whistling: so it stays pretty sharp.  They run at Costco $27 for I think 10

That's how I found the razors I like. I bought the cheapies; I really liked the shave from the Wilkinson Sword Extra II, so I stuck with them. They are something like $5.50 for four.
