You're forgiven. But that bullion cube fixation is a little weird.
Guess I'll give it a try. Supposed to spread it on bread? Or maybe give it to a neighbor that has kids since it's "sweet"?
I like crunchy peanut butter but the wife doesn't so you know what kind I'm eating.Oh, I love peanut butter spread on hot pan cakes smothered with syrup and washed down with a cold glass of milk.
Spread on bananas it makes a nice little chocolatey dessert. It isn't really a "sandwich" filling to me, but you could put it on toast. It really is a bit like frosting. Definitely in the treat category.
The headline that caught my eye – "Nutella settles lawsuit" – took me back instantly to memories of slathering the product on real French bread. It was convenient. You spread it on like peanut butter, but it tasted so much better: chocolate with just the right essence of hazelnut. Back then, it was touted as an after-school treat for European kids and hard to find in the United States. Now, it's marketed increasingly for breakfast for American children. That's what got its maker, Italy's Ferrero Group (which also makes Ferrero Chocolates and Tic Tacs), into trouble with US courts.
Nutella was sued once for it's claims it was part of a healthy breakfast. http://www.csmonitor.com/Business/new-economy/2012/0427/Nutella-settles-lawsuit.-You-can-get-20I've noticed more and more recipes that include it.http://www.nutelladay.com/nutella-recipes/
Heathen.I bought chocolate gelato and a hard-packed chocolate ice cream yesterday. That gelato was so rich, I could only eat a few spoonfuls. If it had been regular ice cream, I probably would have eaten the entire jar (or at least half of it).
I have two BIG jars of Nutella that my son talked me into purchasing from Costco several months ago. They're still sitting there. Nobody has had the guts to try it.
We had a shop open here that just had a sign "Gelato" in the window. It lasted about a year and a half before folding. It had tables outside in the summer but no customers. I was by there several times a week and saw almost zero customer traffic. I doubt if one person in fifty, here in red state hell, knows what "gelato" is. Sounds kinda euro-weenie-ish
Nutella is good
Ever have Ferrero Rocher ?Nutella tastes like the stuff inside a piece of it.
Yes I have. Definitely giving it away. I don't need a butt that looks like Moo-chelles; because that's what I'd get if it tastes that good. 8-O
Good call.
