This is a poll merely to check public sentiment, not to make any changes to the policies and practices of conservativecave.
Should primitives be allowed to register and post here?
The policy of conservativecave is that anyone is allowed to register and post here, unless and until such time that the member proves rude, disruptive, or in other ways malicious.
I, personally, think it's the only policy possible.
However, occasionally there seems discontent in our ranks, that a primitive's among us.
I, personally, think it's an exaggerated problem, because primitives never seem to last long here.
Which flummoxes me, because on this side, our moles appear to enjoy long life-spans on Skins's island--several years, tens of thousands of posts--gaining access into the most-secret chambers of Skins's island, the darkest secrets of the primitives.
We succeed because our moles are cordial to, and respectful of, the bona fide primitives.
The latest primitive coming here and not lasting long, is of course franksolich's now-evaporated literary muse.
I feel as if I'd set out on a date that was to last until midnight, but it was already over before the main course was served, say, circa 6:30 p.m., when she abruptly walks out--in what one'd hoped to be an, uh, interesting evening.
I surely hope any primitive coming here to register and comment--and there's nothing holding any of them back; the door's not locked or anything--first takes the time to read Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People, so that the primitive can hang around longer.
