Continuing to think about the romper room, just spitballing.

1) Probies are relegated to the romper room for their first 25 posts.

2) The romper room is only visible to logged in members, including those relegated to the romper room.

3) If a thread is started by a probie and begins to wonder afield it can be locked without explanation, or with, it's up to the admin.

4) The idea of the romper room as I see it, is to keep the probie focused on it's OP, if it strays it is locked without explanation.

5) The rules should be clear, this is your chance DUmmies, don't screw it up by changing the subject. And by the same token, we have to follow the same rules or it's locked without comment.

6) Cursing is prohibited, If cursing ensues the thread is locked with comment calling out the foul mouth, and the cursor gets the ban hammer.

7) If you don't like Internet arguments and are a member of CC stay out of the romper room.

I drift more toward fifty.
It's too easy to hit 25 with "kicks".
I would also restrict their ability to BS or H5.
DUmpmonkeys would get really upset if they couldn't retaliate.

Mostly I don't post or respond to their rants. However, sometimes I think this is just so obvious I will. So I do. Does it do good to mentally wrestle with a pig? Most time no but maybe one might just see some logic and truth. So I try. Not often but sometimes. Plus I think letting them have free speech is a good thing to just point out their fascist hive minds.

I vote yes. After all we don't want to do the same as the DUmp when it comes to people of an opposing view point from ours. Besides, they usually take themselves out with their actions, so why not let them for the entertainment value,

If we don't allow them to post then they will get to try to mole over here.  Then we will have to form a MILF to track them down and a jury system to handle us accusing each other of being moles.
 
Seems like we are handling them the right way now not withstanding Dori's misgivings.

As long as they behave, I don't have a problem with their being here. I agree with the point about them turning into moles otherwise.

For the most part they don't last long, and rapidly descend into pooh throwing...which is when they get banned. That seems a reasonable way to deal with them to me.
