I visited nadin's blog to try and learn about this breaking news story because it might just affect the fictional spirit-guide realm. Instead of breaking news I find a story about windmills. Well, it did include some breaking, but before I get into that I'd like some of you to refresh my memory about something.

I seem to remember a kerfunkle not all that long ago in which nadin claimed that the problem with windmills/windfarms is that one the blades could fall off and when it did it would paint itself flat black, grow a 30-round magazine and jet engine, and fly thousands of miles throughout the country gunning down puppy dogs and kittens. Or something somewhat like that. I may have some of the specifics incorrect. Regardless, does anyone else remember such a kerfunkle?

So in the meantime, back in my back yard, we have had two major incidents at two major wind farms this year. First we had the Ocotillo Express project lose a blade. Thankfully it did not do much more than just fall to the ground. Then a wind turbine in front of the Golden Acorn Casino burned. It also started a small brush fire, and we were lucky it wasn’t at the height of a Santa Anna.

It just fell to the ground? How is that possible? Was the jet engine that it grew after it fell off faulty or something?

I fess up. I'm a big nadin supporter. I want to get her...uh...intelligence...yeah, that's the ticket...intelligence out there so others can learn from her.

The problem here isn't the jury system. The problem is you. Sometimes it takes a while, but eventually most DUers figure out how to get along with other DUers. My suggestion is that you try to do it too.

I think her main problem is a dwindling of her supporters thus encouraging the bullies.  Perhaps it is time for the moles to step in (gingerly) and lavish a little praise on her and scorn on the bullies.

She can post an OP about nothing, and people complain that it's clearly about nothing, and thus not suitable for GD. Then she whines she is being victimised, and some GD hosts believe her, and complain that the nothing thread is locked. Even when her subsequent posts make it clear she did the OP purely to whine about DU, thus directly breaking the SoP for DU, one or two GD hosts stick to their claims that an OP about nothing is not against the GD SoP, and it doesn't matter that she admitted she was trolling later. And proudly points to the trolling on Facebook.

Sweet gig, if you can get it, and that's the kind of attention you crave.
