I see the twin corrected his spelling of "spectacal".

After I pointed it out.  See?  I said he was here.

Now, I have a question for hearing people.

While I'm writing, no matter what it is, I'm pronouncing, audibly or inaudibly, each word, actually moving my lips and stuff.  It's something I learned in speech therapy years ago, as I can't hear words.

Is "spectacle" pronounced that way, "spectacal"?

No...it's a reach, but if one were to insert an "a" in between the c and l one might get away with it.

Well, the nearest I can figure it out, it's pronounced "speck-ti-cul," which of course leads to the correct spelling, "spectacle."

The twin's always had a problem with spelling; I wonder if it'd help if he pronounced words as he wrote them.

Heh, I use chrome, it beats me up pretty good in the spelling department.
