Instead of the term "minorities" I think the term "People of Culture" has a good ring to it. I heard it for the first time today when I walked into my dad's hospital room when a specialist was talking to him about Diabetes Type 2. The woman was black and she had a good personality as she broke the news. He was just borderline and she said that she explained how it would affect his diet and that would require some changes because "we people of culture" like to eat certain foods.

"People of culture." I'll take it.


Because honky-ass crackas have no culture, you see.

Beethoven, Brahms, Bach, Steinbeck, Hemingway, Joyce, Cartier-Bresson, Twain...all hacks, right?

If I, as a racist cracker, was to travel to a country such as mexico, or nigeria where whites are in the minority, would I suddenly gain status as a people of culture?  and if so, when do I gain the people of culture status?  When I enter their airspace, touchdown on the runway, clear customs?  How soon upon leaving the non-white country do I lose my people of culture status?  And most importantly, can I profit monetarily from my new found status as a people of culture?
