How hard would it have been to say that if your plan met the new requirements, you could keep it?

Then there would have been no cACA Obama HellCare bill passed. Kind of like telling someone the car you are selling is about to throw a rod. They wouldn't buy it.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

It's obviously the car maker's fault, not the salesman who promised it wouldn't happen.

This law helps the eternally stupid by not allowing insurance companies to sell them shitty non insurance.

What is shittier than a policy that doubles your premium, carries a $6000 deductible, and only pays 60% after the deductible is satisfied?

It's neither affordable, nor is it care.

Had you described a policy like that a couple of years ago, people would have laughed.

Those old "cancer insurance" scams that "pay direct to you, $60 a day while you're hospitalized" were much better deals.

Even worse as it is mandatory unlike the Nigerian 419 scam.

I hope you guys realize this was a planned step by the Marxist asshole. The next step is to say, "It's an unattainable feat due to evil, greedy private insurance companies" and then start pimping single-payer Marxist medicine. IMO, people will be so scared of having no insurance that they'll buy into the meme and flock to the Democrats demanding to be enslaved be taken care of by the nanny state. Stick a fork in us.

I agree that is the goal but the roll out has only hurt the muslim marxist's chance of that happening. After saying "If you like you policy and your doctor you can keep it. Nobody will force you out of them." with any promises lies that King Barky the Liar tells about big government health care.

As with all of King Barky the Incompetent plans, he has a goal but steps on his dick right out of the gate. The only thing that has advanced his plans for the demise of the USA is that screwing up as president does hurt the USA.

I'm not that optimistic and think all this was planned. I'm also not that confident in the intelligence of the average American voter, ESPECIALLY after they re-elected this jackass with the debt, deficit, and unemployment the way it was. Hell, F'n Democrat Terry McCauliffe is leading the Virginia governor's race by 4 points. People are voting for stuff. The prophesy of Alexander Tytler, Alexis de Tocqueville, whoever you want to attribute it to, has come to fruition.

If they did realize it, they would be quite thrilled. "Free healthcare" is their wet dream.

Need some "roundup" (hint-hint) and some "weeding" done in the voter garden.

No, it's the fault of the guy who told them that the car was about to throw a rod and the slick salesman made the sale to the stupid buyer anyway saying it was all good and you get a free Unicorn when you sign.

I went to the healthcare.gov site and checked out what a similar plan would cost if I were to drop my current group plan.  Hello ... three times as much.  And, of course, I don't qualify for the subsidy.  Obamacare may butt.  It's Obamadon'tcare.

One can only hope.  Maybe if the Republicans got both the House and Senate, O'bumble and Jarat might do something stupid enough to get him impeached.

I don't know what's gotten into Bill O'Reilly lately, but he was hinting at "impeachment" last night.

I can just imagine what would happen if Republicans tried to impeach Obama.  The DUmp would collectively have a stroke.

I've seen reports that at least one Dem operative, with deep ties to the White House, has been saying "We're ****ed!" when referring to Democare and the Democrat Party.

31. Is it rolled out? No! Not one person has started on insurance through exchanges

People are sheep. They are going off of vague info they are hearing. When people are signed up through 2014 and the other pieces kick in fully, this will be a VERY popular program. Right now, low information people are listening to morons.

Oh I just can't wait to hear all the wonderful stories about Obamacare when it kicks in on Jan 1st.

Let me guess.

They can't find my account.
My doctor isn't in my exchange.
I can't get an appointment for 60 days.
I have to use the Hospital that's 25 mi away.
I had to pay $500 cash upfront before the emergency room would take me.

blah, blah, blah

There will be an avalanche of anecdotes from both sides of the issue.

0bamaites will flood the innertube with stories of how their premiums went down 300% and doctors from all over their area are calling to beg for their business.

0bamaites will flood the innertube with stories of how their premiums went down 300% and doctors from all over their area are calling to beg for their business.

There is going to be a tidal wave of bouncys about how everybody is thrilled to have higher premiums, higher deductibles, higher co-pays, and fewer treatments and doctors.

So I was in line at the grocery store when the checker started crying. The older lady in line asked what is the matter? The checker told her that she was so happy that she didn't have to worry about healthcare with her new ObamaCare policy. The older lady said her premiums dropped by 3000% and that her husband, who is a republican, got a $2500 raise and can't believe he was ever against Obama. Another woman told me she could now feed her 7 kids and have health care. I said, so all those horror stories were all lies from corporate media? The checker and the older lady both yelled not yes but "HELL YES!". The people behind me in line started cheering and chanting "Si, se puede!!!" I had some democratic voter registration forms and signed up ten new democratic voters. One old fat guy said he was changing his registration and took one of my forms. He told me he could not see why he had been so stupid to vote against his best interests for so many years. He couldn't believe that republicans had fought so hard against the ACA bill and shutdown the government. There were three African American teens that were beaming with pride for the first African American president had done so much to help so many people. I started a chant of  "O-ba-ma! O-ba-ma! O-ba-ma!" and everyone in the store was smiling and holding hands with tears of joy streaming down their faces.

After I paid for my groceries and put the spare change in the UNICEF donation bin, the checker told me she wants Obama to run for a third term and if I knew how she could help get progressive democrats locally elected. I told her to go to democraticunderground.com to find out and that she should join because there are a lot of really smart and gifted people there. She told me thank you because her family thanksgiving dinners have a republican uncle that always spouts right wing whacko talking points. I told her that democraticunderground.com is full of how to refute those false talking points with super intelligent counter arguments.

When I was leaving the store a cop jumped out of the bushes and thanked me for all of my help. I walked back to the bus stop with a white light in my heart and a smile on my face. I knew everything that the evil white man had done to this country, the world, and the planet were going to change and all the peoples would come together as one under our first historic black president.

A section of owebumacare parallels the motor voter bill, ensuring even more obozophone voters will amass. As I understand it there are no safeguards from illegals using owebumacare to register to vote. So the masters of vote buying and voter corruption are on a roll.
