Making DUmmie MUnnie... What faces should I use for the coins?
« on: October 28, 2013, 12:55:58 PM »
I'm creating new currency for the DUmmies. I will be creating penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half-dollar, and dollar coins. I am not going to do paper, though, as DUmmies are typically too stupid to make enough that doesn't allow them to use their food stamp cards to convert to cash.

Anyway, whose pictures can I use for these coins? Off the top of my head, Steve Dawes, Doug Bulna, Nadin comes to mind, but I would like to make this a consensus.

Priority (importance): Quarter, Penny, Dollar, Dime, Nickel, and Half-Dollar. Names should be priortized in this order I imagine. I will probably use ImagineIt  Photoshop plugin to create profiles from facial pictures to emulate the profile pictures on actual coins.

The obvious is gnads for the half dollar.  You can use an old Franklin half dollar for a model.

I think that Alfred E. Neuman would be appropriate for all the coins.

Someone already said Alfred E. Neuman, so I worry no one could tell the difference.

I'm glad somebody more capable with picture editing software has decided to take up this project.

I did a really basic mockup of nads on the half dollar, and posted it somewhere in The DUmpster a couple months back.

I would suggest using the same photo of nads I used, since it's already almost a dead ringer.  You will have to flip it 180 degrees to get her face going the right direction, though.

How's this?
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”
