There is an old saying that is coming to mind here: "Beggars can't be choosers." The homeless have every right not to accept help, but quite simply, religious people are the ones offering help most of the time.
Amber, watching your problems unfold on DU has shown that almost all of your problems are your own fault. You had a place to live and you had a job, but you gave up both willingly with no fall back plan but to move to another state and be homeless. Blaming the Salvation Army because they don't know how solve the problems of the "new homeless" is a cop out.
