I just got back from a 4 day trip to Europe
No Coors or Miller light anywhere in Frankfurt or Munich
Or Uppsala, Sweden
Wtf?
I wasn't happy to say the least

1. Okay, really?
That's what bothered you? None of the sights made up for that?
Or is this pure sarcasm? I can't tell.
darkangel218 (7,397 posts) Tue Oct 1, 2013, 12:57 PM
2. No. the trip was awesome.
I got to see my friends. Just surprised Coors isn't there.
Yes, it bothered me as I don't drink other beers.
Why do you have to be mean?

3. Okay, sorry. I'm just envious that you got to go to Europe
and I'm stuck here and I don't even like beer.

4. Im originally from Europe, thats why i had to go see friends and family
It was a legitimate concern. I don't do good with strong beer and I don't drink liquor.
Oh, boo-****ing hoo.
When franksolich was younger and greener in judgement, franksolich drank a lot; too much. My favorite beers were Coors Light, Olympia Light, Tuborg Light; wouldn't touch anything heavier.
I also spent three winters in Europe during those years.
Never
once did I whine about their beer, ale, stout. It was what they liked, I was only a guest, and it would've been bad manners to disparage their tastes, and whine that mine should be catered to.
What is it about primitive, who think the world's supposed to adjust to them, rather than they to the world?

18. So many excellent beers in Europe and you only drink Coors?
I'm sorry, but that's just astonishing.
Live a little! Take a chance! You never know what you're missing if you don't even try something different.

22. You think i havent tried other beers? lol! i have

9. Those "beers" don't pass the Reinheitsgebot (purity law)
This sounds like complaining about not being able to find Wonderbread, Velveeta Cheese and Hershey bars to me.
I'm in Germany for 3 months a year and I always love the food.
HarveyDarkey (7,286 posts) Tue Oct 1, 2013, 02:57 PM
10. That's because they drink real beer
^^^Oh, shut the **** up, primitive.
Coors Light, &c., &c., &c., is just as much "real" beer as any other beer.
It's just a matter of taste.
Arrogant bastard. Probably eats his beef raw too, like a neanderthal.

13. Seriously! My husband and I were in Germany a few years ago and we were in Munich, at a bar drinking very local beer brewed in a very old brewery that we'd never ever be able to get in the US, and this American sits a few seats away from us and asks the waitress if they have Budweiser. Well, there is an Austrian beer called Budweiser that is totally NOT USA "Bud". SO she brings him that and he has a fit. "No no no, BUDDD-WYYY--ZERRRR" he says, very arrogantly. She says "THATTTT ISSSS BUDDDVYYYZERRRR..." very sarcastically back to him and she goes to the bar and brings the bottle back. Oh he was like NO way, no how, I don't know what you're pulling over on me, I'm an american and I want American beer, BUDWEISER and the bartender, who's had it about up to his neck by now says very nicely and with the most awesome German accent ever "oh Sorry sir, she misunderstood you. She thought you said Budweiser, which is what she brought you. See, what you are asking for is translated roughly to "Stale Dog Piss," and we do not allow that to be imported to our country. So very sorry about that. We can, however, offer you authentic beer in its place, if you'd like...."
It
was
****ing
awesome
Asking for horrible non-beer Beer in Europe, and then getting annoyed that it's not served? That's rich.

19. Germans drink real beer.
Not the piss water you wanted to get.
^^^Another ****ing beer snob.
I thought we were supposed to be the snobs, not the primitives.

23. Is there such a thing as a beer troll?
You might be it.
As no one of European heritage could possibly like one of the most awful creations of American beer culture .... and an insult to the very name of beer itself ....
I question your veracity.
darkangel218 (7,397 posts) Tue Oct 1, 2013, 11:09 PM
24. Tell that to the millions of people who prefer light beer
I guess we are all beer trolls

26. That is the beauty of Europe
No Coors or Miller light. They have real beer.
By the way, it's it about time for the darkangel primitive to leave Skins's island again?
