For shits and giggles, I put in an income of $600/month and the premium was $513/month. Looks like a good idea for even the very low income people to just pay the fine..er...penalty...ahhh I mean TAX. Then get the very top of the line plan if something bad happens. Just like the good people under Romney Care do in Massachusetts.
My current insurance runs around $390/month. I can now get a worst policy with a higher deductible for 130% more. I'm shocked I tell you that the government being involved makes the price dramatically increase. Did I forget to mention that costs to the federal government have now gone up over three times the estimate ($800 billion vs. $2,600 billion) and that only 1/2 the people (15 M vs. 30 M) supposedly uninsured will be insured.
I guess this just another version of SMART Power!!!!11111!!!!!!elebinty, medical insurance version.
