"Best In Show", "Waiting For Guffman", "A Mighty Wind", "This Is Spinal Tap" are hilarious movies, but they're scripted movies with great professional actors. They're called "mockumentaries".

The "Pursuit of Excellence" series, especially Ferrets, are all pure, legit documentaries, entirely unscripted with real-world, natural nuts. I laughed so hard my ribs were sore.

The funniest thing about the ferret show is that none of those crazy women realize they're being laughed at.

4. Have you considered a service dog?

Your mother's objections would be rather trivial in the context of the big picture. There are several organizations that train and certify dogs to assist with various things. It may be something to investigate.

Otherwise, consider a rabbit - they can be quite loving and friendly if socialized properly.

7. They do service dogs for anxiety and depression?...

I know there are "therapy" dogs. But those usually go around to hospitals, hospices and the like to give comfort to the gravely ill. And I know it's not the right thing to say but I'm not sure I like the stigma attached to needing a "service" dog. Though to tell you the truth it would be very comforting, lol.

13. Yes, they do.

No one would need to know why - you could tell them whatever you wanted - you have a seizure disorder or something.

How about a pet suggestion from DUmmy UGP:

I think a frozen rat would be just perfect for LocoNuts.

True dat. But put a pair of googly eyes on a rock and he will still get an anxiety attack.

Beat me to it, Johhnyreb. I think those two are a match made in.... well not heaven... let's just say the looney bin. Afterall, nutsies need lovin too.

At least he would have a shot at getting laid with UGP. A small one... but beggars can't be choosers. Better than any of his chances up till now. I'm assuming UGP still has her lower lady parts.
