That's exactly what I was thinking, vesta. I know a guy who is in this exact situation- he's in his mid-thirties, weighs about 500 pounds (I wish I were joking), and yet no woman out there is good enough for him. When he's probed further, momma is definitely pulling the strings. It's sad.
But, who is responsible for this situation ????
Is it the Evil mother that cannot let go of a son, using her son still hanging out with Mommy as a testament to what a Good Child she raised ??? BTDT bit with a MIL from hell. Oh Howdy how she destroyed all her sons marriages knowing what buttons to push on me to start a raging fight between her son and myself and later on 3 or 4 marriages he had after me.
On the other hand what goes with these men, grown men that still need their Mommy, is she giving him enough money for his life style and companionship to her self. If so, why would a man agree to this arrangement unless he is getting something in the NOW and looking forward to the day the Old Crone drops dead and leaves him enough money to continue his life style.
No two men are the same, I have met 3-4 people middle aged, 40+ that still live with parents and boy howdy all had a different story. Can get quite weird here. Some things mothers pull on their sons dates/ wives come to the level of I can't believe I saw this interaction between a Mother and Son, if this is normal ????
