I have $50 that I have been able to hide from my family.

I found out that it will cost $50 to bump up the ticket that someone here on DU bought for me!

I also go ahold of Primavera to see what could be done if I come by the 21st. They say it will be easier to get me into the program now instead of Oct.

Many trying to get in around Oct.
So I am going Friday to bump up the ticket!

I can get to take what little money I have earned with me to Tucson!

My 'family' are already coming up with little "crises" to try and get me to bail them out. So I have got to get out NOW. Thank goodness for this good news!

LOL. 50 whole dollars is a deal maker.

The taxi will cost $25 to come pick me up. That is the only real ouch to this. But I can't risk loosing all my very little nest egg!

It's best to just let DUmmies self destruct on their own. With some people, giving them a hand is like pushing them over a cliff.  If this turns out badly, the kind person who paid for her bus ticket will get all the blame.

We know a little.  He once posted a brag bouncy where he was cooking a goose one day.  A bum knocked on his door, and asked for a glass of water.  Well, don't you know he made the bum a peanut butter sandwich to go with the water!!  Meanwhile, roasted poultry is wafting out the door. 

And I could be misremembering, but once his kitchen sink was on the fritz and was awaiting repairs.  So, he used every available dish, and things that could pretend to be a dish, because he couldn't wash them.  It never occured to him to wash the dishes in the bathtub, maybe.  Someone suggested it and it killed the thread.   :lmao:

I think he's single, don't know if he's gay.

She also talks about having a "nest egg" to take with her.  She seems to have saved up a lot of money in a short time at the "convenient store".  I think she was right in  calling it a "convenient store".  It was a convenient place to get some cash.
