They organize and collectively decide workers' fate.

All workers should collectively bargain.

There is no reason to do otherwise.

What about volunteer work?

What about work that's done in a homeless shelter, soup line or Dog pound?

Would you be a scab if above work is part of your community service in order to get out of jail and put on probation?

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.
