Now I'm confused.
I thought that Zimmerman was on trial, not this semi-literate 19 year old who couldn't tell the truth if it hit her on her rather large backside.
Straighten me out about this "jury of one's peers" thingy........[/sarcasm]
Marv--I hope your entire post was sarcasm and not just your last line.
Now, were I the DA in this case, would I have charged Zimmerman with murder? No. Manslaughter, maybe, based on the extent of the injuries Trayvon inflicted upon Zimmerman before he was shot. Even that might be a stretch given that Zimmerman had blood on the BACK AND FRONT of his head and a broken nose as a result of the beating inflicted upon him.
But the DA, having overreached, brings this "star" witness in, who turns out to be more of a liability than anything else to the prosecution's case.
If you had to go to the jury now, Zimmerman is going to walk. Basically, my whole impression of her testimony was, "This is the best you got?"
