1. This is a liberal problem because liberals run the universities.
2. It's a racial/bad genes thing -- the entitled society is being allowed into the universities with no filter. Now it's gone to hell.

Example one: Girl in her 20's has a kid. She has a min wage job and is on welfare. Along comes a promotion, about a $10,000 per year. Said girl turned it down. Didn't want to lose her medicaid insurance for the kid. How do I know? Cause she was my girlfriend for about 4 years back in the late 80's and believe me she wasn't the brightest bulb in the bunch. The kid's father was a complete loser. I knew him too.

Example two: Guy is 26 years old. Works as a cook. Makes around $11.00 per hour. Works 40 a week with some OT. Has 8, yes I said 8, kids by 3 different girls!!!! Got another one on the way. Welfare pays for his housing, heat/cool, medical care, etc. His check goes for smokes, booze and stuff like that for him and his current baby momma. I asked him one day why he didn't get his ass in school. Said he wasn't smart enough and besides... he would lose his welfare. Guy's name is Jody. He works for a guy I went to school with.

Both of these people are white.

Now tell me Buzzybutt that I am wrong. That is just two examples. I got lots more. Seen with my own two eyes. If both your parents are smart... chances are you are smart. Same as being tall, etc. It is just a simple genetic fact.  The truth is the truth and yelling racist doesn't make it any less true. Yelling racist means you lost the argument. Saying that I spew hate means you lost the argument.  We both know it Buzzybutt.

I only take any umbrage with what you said to this degree.  Those behaviors are learned.  Humans being the observant and extremely adaptable species that we are, they observed that behavior in others.  Then, because they saw that behavior rewarded with the essentials of housing, food, and money for clothing, they copied it. 

These people had ancestors who did not act any differently from their neighbors and who adapted during hard times by either doing with less, working more, or moving where work could be found.  Then the government essentially offered them a subsistence lifestyle and they decided that was easier than traditional things such as marriage, hard work, and education.  This applies whether you're talking about whites, blacks, or hispanics. 

I have a part time worker that is almost in the same boat as Jody.  Two kids by the same woman, not married, government benefits are wide open for her and the kids, free housing, free food, free medical care.  They spend his checks on whatever comforts they want.  He just laughs when I suggest he make an honest woman out of her and join the armed forces to pay his own way.

I can see where you are coming from, VB. I think my point about genetics is still valid though. Not everyone is an Einstein. Not everyone is a dunce. It is harder to succeed though, if you were born of parents that were of the disposition to do just enough to survive. Is that learned behavior? To a degree, I'd say yes. But genetic makeup just cannot be completely ignored. Just as some are more genetically inclined to get cancer or certain diseases, some are more genetically inclined to do just enough to survive and I would wager that the inclination is greater if their parents were the same way. Are there exceptions? Sure.  No argument here.

That is one of the hard things when dealing with humans and generalities.

Yeah...Step One never happened, the first part of Step Two was something the students wanted (Instructors with some IRL experience who had actually worked in the field rather than pure ivory-tower academicians), and the second part of Step 2 is something the Lib academic establishment did entirely to itself (The DUmmie is really making it six steps, but can't count that high).  To the slight extent the last three steps aren't just BS, they also involve things Libs with money did to them.

Let's see.  The Universities have women's studies (To encourage rabid feminism), black studies (detached from real history), latino studies (again detached from history), gay studies (and no one laughed it off campus), and every piece of absolute gobbledy-gook  imaginable passing itself off as a field worthy of study and respect.  Liberal Arts didn't fall by the wayside because a rigorous degree in Education or English is useless, they fell because they started letting what amounted to bull shit pass as something worthy of a college degree.

Then they decided to let the animals rule the farm.  This includes professors as well as students.  Why is a biochemistry professor waxing about current events in class for ten minutes?  I'd demand a refund of that percentage of class if it went on in a class I attended.  Students are allowed to protest over stupid things.  The administrations and students routinely attack anyone who doesn't think exactly like the herd.  The special interest groups are flummoxed when their interests collide because they each think their victim card gives them absolute sway.  A new title for college presidents could be "the hindmost".

It must be nice to live in an ivory tower where you can hold whatever inane, stupid, and unsupportable point of view you want.  If they had to write one letter home because somebody got killed because they made a mistake, I guarantee you they would think a little harder.
