Republicans have a stranglehold on the institutions of government.

It doesn't matter if they are in leadership or not. The Obama Administration has proven that Democrats have very little to say and little they can do to cut the military spending, stop the war on terror, stop the intelligence gathering, stop the big government subsidies, stop the growth of contractors in our government, appoint who they want to fill open positions, judicial and elsewhere. Democrats are mostly toothless tigers and Republicans run all facets of government, whether or not they are the majority.

Now, some will say the Democrats could do this if they wanted? But I say they are hog-tied and handcuffed by the Republicans and there is nothing they can do except to be a figurehead government until the real leaders can get back in power. It is a depressing thought but I am becoming more and more convinced that it is true.

If you believe this fantasy to be true, doesn't that make the Bamster too stupid or weak to lead? After all Bush was one step above a chimp and managed to put that entire nefarious apparatus in place.

:mental:  Well then how come we can't flush the piece of shit known as obamacare down the toilet?  Why can't we fire Holder and Jarrett (and/or put them in prison)?  Why can't we make the schools something other than indoctrination camps?  Why do we have to be constantly on the guard for our 2A rights?

Not too surprising the bluegrass primitive would bring this up as a topic on the island. He's been saying the exact same thing in his private emails.

ToKentuck's way of thinking, Holder and Jarrett are doing the bidding of the VRWC.

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

For those of you who don't know, kentuck's fictional spirit guide's name is BD. The initials stand for Brain Dead.

BD didn't get his name by accident.

Many people don't know that fictional spirit guides have to take an entrance exam. The exam uses standard type scoring from 0 to 100. Naturally 100 is a perfect score. Other than BD, the lowest anyone has ever scored on the exam is a 50, and the fictional spirit guide who scored that actually took the test while she was still partially under anesthesia from some sort of heart surgery.

BD scored a -97. Yes, that's a negative 97.

Ole BD is the type of guy that will stick his tongue into a hot, empty light socket. After it knocks him on his ass you can tell him to try it again, and he will. As many times as you tell him. For the record, it stops being funny around the 284th time that he's knocked on his ass.

With that said, BD filed a request to be removed as kentuck's fictional spirit guide. He said he wanted to fictionally spirit guide someone who is at least as smart as himself.

For new members and lurkers: I am a fictional spirit-guide with no smell whatsoever. I am part irish setter and part pigeon. If you don't smell any strange smells it means I'm probably standing next to you. As I am a fictional character anything I post should possibly be considered fictional.

If I had a stranglehold I would have strangled it by now.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."
