Yeah, but it's a German. I'd like something at least American.

No.  I get really claustrophobic in small cars.

Yeehaw.

There's one Smart car at work.  The lady that owns it is about 5'4 and 90 pounds.

One of my former commanders dresses out at about 320 lbs. now and scoots around in a Smart car. Damn thing needs heavy duty shocks on the driver's side all the way around.   :-)

They call that the "bachelor lean".

My MGB has a bad case of it.  I'm pretty sure the new bushings will take care of that, at least for a while.

Never.

No Smart Car would ever be allowed in my driveway or garage.  I don't care how "cool" it looks.

Oh I have a sense of adventure, but I prefer not to drive in a death trap.  I love small cars, but ones with a good safety rating.  Smart cars are death traps.  I am not fond of death traps....that's just the way I roll.  :-)

I don't understand why anybody would buy a Smart Car.  The proportions are all wrong on them.

If I wanted something new and smaller, I'd settle for a Fiat 500.

90% of the vehicles in Texs are pickup trucks.  Anything smaller than a mid-sized car is a death trap there. :-)

Yes but not on a paved road.   I want to be up as high as possible to see over the tops of leading cars or trucks .   Now I would love an old Packard like Grandfather once owned.   That darn thing could take a head on collision from these fiberglass cars and trucks and just need a new bumper.

Well there's that too.  It's not like that everywhere?

High cool factor, but no thanks.  If it had the length of a van, even a minivan, or mid-size SUV, I'd love to have one.  Something with a track base that short would roll over forward or backward on even a very modest obstacle if you tried to actually take it off-road...and I certainly would!

Would I drive/buy a Smart car?

Not just no, but HELL NO.

I've got dogs and horns to schlep around. (But not usually at the same time.)

I pass this guy every morning on the way to work. Speed limit is 70 yet he does 50 (I know because I have gotten stuck behind him).  When I pass I laugh.  It's just so comical to see this fat guy in it.   :rotf:

I dated a big girl, and she told me she wanted a smart car. It's sad to say that my first thought was "How would you get in?" It's a terrible thing to think when you're dating someone.

Our riding mower is bigger than that.  And probably has a bigger engine as well.

Grease her hips and throw in a candy bar.

It's even worse when you express the thought.  Yeah, I know, I'm going to hell.
