Umm doesn't it say no grey hair? So how did the dummie donate that greasy, salt and pepper mop?
Yeah, considering the hair is used to make wigs for sick children. Most kids wouldn't want a wig of gray hair, especially since I probably don't want to know what's crawling in that mess of hair.
As an intern within my church's youth program, this story really does piss me off, for a couple reasons:
1. One of the teens I work with (Though she'll be moving to another state in a month) was diagnosed with terminal brain tumors at age six, yet she was healed through what could only be called a divine miracle, and has been living a happy, cancer free life for several years now, she'll turn 15 in July. When she had it, she had several wigs apparently, and I wouldn't be surprised if at least one was from Locks of Love. The thought of a current kid with cancer like hers being deprived of a wig to preserve some level of dignity because of some thief is sickening.
2. Another teen I work with (A couple years older than the other one) recently donated much of her hair to Locks of Love.
Here's hoping whoever did it answers for his crimes.
