I have not posted here in some time and Frank knows some of the background on what was going on with me. I don’t really want to get into it again but I will tell you this much. In 2009 I contracted encephalitis and I am sure you all know what that means. It is not all that common but it managed to latch on to me and it was almost fatal. It took me from 2009 until 2012 to fight my way back to being a functioning human being again. It is an ongoing process but the worst part is over. My doctors, and I had quite a few, had me on a cocktail of 11 different drugs that were supposed to help me, they didn’t. What they did was slowly poison me. The worst two in my experience were Oxycontin and Ambien. If you are taking either one of these drugs be very careful they are extremely dangerous.

Just about all I was capable of doing was lying on my bed watching TV or sleeping. One day out of the void it suddenly dawned on me that if I didn’t do something and soon I was going to die and I am not ready to go yet. I took the steps I thought were necessary to save my life. I did aggravate a few doctors along the way but they will get over it. I no longer take any prescription medications I do take some natural supplements but there no side effects. There it is in a nut shell if anyone has specific questions all you have to do is ask them.

I always enjoyed posting at The Conservative Cave so I naturally gravitated back to it. I lead a very busy life now because none of us knows when it will end so we might as well enjoy it while we can. My views on certain issues have changed and that’s all I will say about that. I want to thank all of you that took the time to wish me a Happy Birthday back in February it meant more to me than you will ever know.

Before I let this go I have something to say to just the men. WTF has happened to the Short Bus Forum? Are you guys Metrosexual’s now or what? Some of the ladies have posted better pictures than many of you. This is directed at catsmtrods and it’s only my opinion of course but DUDE WTH were you thinking?



I’m begging you don’t post BS like this in the Short Bus. If you are trying to get in touch with your feminine side that’s fine but please don’t post anymore Kitty Humor I despise cats. Thanks

Welcome back, Bondai. Very glad you recovered from what could have been a very dismal existence.

Just hazarding a guess here, but the Sex and Booze crowd (and thereby main purveyor of the Short Bus) has thinned out somewhat. Schadie doesn't post that much these days and BEG is busy redecorating her house and Mr. Mannn, well, Mr. Mannn just does Mr. Mannn stuff these days.  :-)

You were missed. I found a really cool buffalo skinner at a yard sale recently. I think it may be a Green River. It has really nice steel that shaves with a little attention and a hickory handle with 3 big brass rivets. I will try to post a pic soon. My camera is not working for some reason?

Thanks I appreciate it..no worries bro you and I will chase them wimmin right off the Short Bus...and by the way since I have been away I'm a little rusty at navigating the forum and I accidentally went into the Dude Of The Day forum and there is some crazy shit going on in there. :mental:

Welcome back and I am glad that your doing much better. I have to admit that I have been slacking in the short yellow bus threads. I have been job hunting and taking care of my mom and her house. She's now in a rest home and it looks like she won't be leaving anytime soon. I look forward to seeing you post more and what you have to say. Things need to be stirred up every now and then.
