What up? The doctor told me that it was very similar to what's called Primary Encephalitis. The only way to have it positively identified would have been for them to send a sample to a better lab but they weren't gong to do that. Bottom line is that I was one sick person and unless they have several people that show up with the same thing they don't care. They treat you as best they can and that's it.

My Doctor did tell me that I could have contracted it during a nerve block procedure I had performed on my back. It is not that the Doctor who did the procedure did anything wrong but as you know it's a rough world and a virus is a tough little monkey and pop up when you least expect it. I was actually sick for roughly two months before my immune system just couldn't handle the onslaught any longer and I passed out at my house. I was unconscious on the floor for over 12 hours before my neighbor found me. All in all it was pretty f****** grim. :-)
