The way I deal for cars they couldn't do that.
.
Best deal I ever got on a Jeep was a fluke of sorts. Timing and what ever was going on in the dealership.
We pulled in driving a 20 year old boat, Lincoln Cont. Smoke billowing out the tail pipe and a real mess of a paint job.
We could not afford a new one so we checked out the used and they were also way to expensive for us. The Young salesman was trying so hard to make a sale, he turned around and told us to wait right where we were and off he ran to the new delivery lot and came whizzing around a corner with a little Yellow Jeep with the top down. A repo owned for 18 months and in brand new condition. 3,000 miles on it.
The cost was $ $16,000. we went into the dealership to start the haggling about cost, the trade in value on our $200 car and to our surprise we received $2,000 trade in and 0% interest.
We asked no questions just signed on the dotted line and drove her home. What a deal we got, today we have owned this baby for 13 years and outside of scheduled maintenance and new tires she runs like a clock.
A once in a life time deal, we were in the right place at the right time.
