In case anyone's forgotten, the babbling sister primitive is one of the copy-and-paste queens of Skins's island; please notice her post-count, which is nearly all copy-and-paste jobs.
The babbling sister primitive was married to a guy in Texas who doted upon her, catered to her every need and want, gave her all sorts of presents, but that wasn't enough, and so she divorced him three or four years ago.

Has anyone here had any experiences on dating sites, negative ones? Like the guy who had a pic from 20 years ago, and is now 40# heavier and 20 years older? Guilty...
Or the guy who claimed he was a lib 'til he gave me his e-mail addy w/his name, I looked him up on FB, and he had as a favorite I love Glen Beck? Guilty...
Or the 20 somethings who swear they like older women?
It's been an experience...

1. I have a cousin who has a 3 year relationship because of a dating website.
She went on the site and a few days later they met and have been together since. I have friends who have told me it is not really worth it. I guess it is the luck of the draw. I prefer to go to a bar to meet people, but that is just me.
In case anyone's forgotten, Mrs. Alfred Packer, the hippywife primitive, first met hippyhubby Wild Bill via a dating site on the internet. She lived in Ohio, he in Oklahoma, at the time.
Since Wild Bill's illiterate though, he had to have his lesbo sister do all the writing for him.

2. Well, I'm an ...ahem...older woman...
so can't/won't go to a bar alone. Do go with friends when I can, but that's not always happening.
These sites can make you feel fantabulous or like crapola, depending on feedback.
I have made some good friends, but have met some very strange people also.

7. Don't even get me started!
Those *25 years younger/25 pounds lighter* photos are so common! Do they really think we won't notice how much their appearance has changed when we meet them?
I haven't checked out any of the female profiles but I imagine that plenty of women do the same thing.

3. No one ever writes to me.
I don't think I'm hideous, so I have no idea why no one ever writes. They check me out.
Around here, I suspect it's because I use words that are too big for them (yes, I am surrounded by right-wing redneck idiots).
And possibly I'm picky. No conservatives, no religious freaks, no "country boys". That leaves very little. But hey, solitude before settling is what I say.
<<keeps real life friends and acquaintances separate from internet personalities.
And never the twain has met.
