One of the liberals' arguments about what has happened effective 1/1/13 makes the point that the 4.2% "temporary" FICA rate expired and we're back to the original 6.2%. IOW, ain't nothin' but a thang.  :whatever:

Of course, they utterly forget about the fact the f'n TAX TABLES changed to withholding on a percentage basis per Notice 1036.

I am not a tax geek, and I'm hoping somebody in CC (franksolich, maybe?) can 'splain the DIFFERENCE between the Bush tax cuts that were to expire effective the first of the year (which did, in effect, but in avoiding the fiscal cliff, we have these percentage method tables now) and what we have now.  :banghead:

The spoiled, entitled little snowflakes are going to have to learn just how to make ends meet.  Talk to some relatives who lived through the Depression, if they're still alive.  They didn't need every latest App, did they?  They didn't buy those cute boots that were to just die for.  They didn't meet their friends for drinks and dinner at the pub. 

My mom was raised by a couple who lived through the Depression.  She was the cheapest person I've ever known, I've learned from the best.
