The store had a sign on the shelf where the Hostess cakes used to be.  It read "Why eat a Twinkie when you have our pumpernickel rye for only $1.99."

I like pumpernickel, so I bought a loaf. :lmao:

I like it too, but it lacks a cream filling.

I couldn't even find a generic substitute.  There's usually at least one. :???:

I like it too, but it lacks a cream filling.

Just take a stick of butter, get it to room temp, then cream the butter with sugar and a little vanilla. Pipe it into the whole damned loaf of pumpernickel and voila -- heart attack right around the corner!

You mean the scent of bread baking isn't covered under EPA's Clean Air Act?!?

Oh, the HORRORS!  :whatever:

That was in the 80's, it might be illegal now.  :lmao:

Wait, Teamsters, now you're FOR a secret ballot? I see. When it suits you, secret ballots OK. When it doesn't, and you wish to intimidate members, you'd have taken the same approach.

They're for secret ballots when they're used for union actions. They're against em when they're certifying a new union, so they know just who to "campaign" to, in the sense of "Those are some nice knees you got there, be horrible if something happened to them".

I like the way you think.
