Not that anyone cares
But we made it through!
Glad that's over, though.
Lots of thumps in the night, Hubby went out at 3 AM with big flashlite, he reports we may have siding damage, he is going to check the roof when he comes home from work. It is around a quarter to 7 AM and still as dark as the bottom of a well, big full moon dancing about among the clouds . No rain or any kind of breeze out there, spooky.
Been thinking about the TV ad for this rubber sealent, the one they seal a screen door with and use as the bottom of a boat.
I wonder how this would work on a shingled roof. What the cost would be to buy a 50 gallon drum and spray this all over the roof to hold the shingles in place and make the roof water, wind, and ice proof. Neighbors had their home re roofed at a cost out of pocket to them of over $ 4,000. bucks. Ouch------
Starting to get light in the east and by golly I hear the call of the crows out side, most likely they are trying to gather back their group and find out who is missing.
Watching the huge fire in NY, God bless them, and the fire fighters.
Wondering on why we got off so easy, but then this neck of the woods is known as the Witch area. Any chance all the Wiccans in the area gathered to do what ever they do to make the storm to move west ??????
