So they don't want abortion to be legal, and they don't want birth control covered by insurance
Companies
I don't think it can be clearer than that what the repuke party stands for
http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021521278He moron, we do NOT oppose insurance companies covering birth control. As usual you lie and spin about what we believe in. I will type slowly so you can understand, we do NOT oppose insurance paying for BC, we DO oppose the government forcing employers to pay for it. As usual you are ignorant to the facts and you do your best to pass of your lies as truth. Then when you are confronted with the truth you dismiss it as lies.

1. not quite right. Since "life" begins at conception, it is still ok to murder babies made by rape
rape and incest victims are allowed abortions. For some reason. At least that was what was said tonight. Tomorrow? who knows.
That will be the Romney administration's position on abortion, it isn't going to change. A lot of us pro lifers with some conflict within understand that there are times when this is a necessary evil.

5. I don't think anyone who claims to hold that position
really believes in it. How can they not realize how transparent they are? When they say that, it's so obvious they don't really consider a fetus to be a person. No one would ever be OK with killing a person because his or her father is a rapist.
Yeah we should be ashamed that we don't celebrate murder of the unborn.

9. Let me take their position for a moment and demonstrate the paradox.
If you believe that destroying a fertilized egg is "murder", then abortion should be illegal under any circumstance. It really doesn't matter at what stage. Once the sperm penetrates the egg, "life" is conceived. (My opinion is that it is merely an extension of the female body).
"Murder" is "murder". There is no grey area.
For political reasons, Romney says that "murder" is ok in some cases.
Look.....either you believe it or you don't. You can't have half-assed moral indignation.
I disagree with their position, but if I agreed with them, the dliemna would be swirling in my head.
Romney's position is weak. For a true believer, you can't "murder" any fertilized egg.
I'd rather deal with this dilemma than try to justify murdering babies for the crime of being inconvenient.

10. They really should be giving condoms out like candy.
The problem is, they are not just opposed to abortion. They are also opposed to sex.
No, wanting people to responsible for their actions is not opposition. Just like owning a gun, we don't people doing stupid things with guns yet we don't call for banning them, we leave that to you.
