How many primitives have changed their names?
« on: October 05, 2012, 05:28:23 PM »
Can anyone recall about how many primitives have changed their handles, in attempts to hide themselves from the spotlight that is focused on them?
I was discussing a few things over with a friend who now follows the primitivity at Skin's Island, and the question came up.

The conversation was primarily in regards to wallduded primitives that are no longer 'active posters', and I said that not much gets past you guys, and so I mentioned demtenjeep and TominTib's name changes as examples of those not able to escape their 'posting styles' to merely cloak themselves in another handle.

I told him I'd ask on here, and see what you guys can recall.  I also told him he needs to sign up here.  :-)

Excepting in extraordinary circumstances, the primitives can change their names only at the grace and goodness of my fellow alum Skins, during some sort of big mass collective orgy.  As far as I know, there's been two of them, but there might've been more in the past.  The last one was after the elections of 2008.

Those primitive name-changes were collected and itemized here, in the DUmping Ground:

"primitive name-changes for 2009"

http://www.conservativecave.com/index.php/topic,21813.0

I don't think there exists any earlier handy-dandy directory, and of course decent and civilized people have long since gotten used to the primitives with their new monickers, so even this directory is of little help these days.

Under extraordinary circumstances, my fellow alum Skins has condescended to changing primitive names.

The two I can think of are "MoPaul" and "greenbriar," to "phalloscraper" and "dumbtenjeep" respectively.

I have no idea why these primitives requested their names be changed, and I wish they wouldn't do it, as it confuses.

<<has been "franksolich," and only "franksolich," on the internet since late 1995.

Just to be sure I've got all my bases covered, does that 2009 list include primitives who signed up for a completely different account, and stopped using their original account?

All of their comments under their old names were transferred to their accounts under their new names.

The directory consists of name-changes only, no additional new names.

I'll think about it over the weekend, but besides the two you mentioned I can't remember any.

If you go to the elm tree site, there's several ex-primitives who talk about having sneaked back on and getting banned again, some of them several times, but they were all members of the faceless mob.

Temporary Sockpuppet  :lmao:
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

That's in the 2009 directory, linked above.  That wasn't a special case, as with "MoPaul" or "greenbriar."

I think MoPaul got his name changed because he's in a band, and some people remembered it and drawing the correct conclusions, pounded him in a bar.

I dunno why greenbriar changed her name.

I think she was humiliated by her plagiarism tombstoning as greenbriar.

It also gave her an opportunity to indirectly brag about a new car.

You know, one of the things that pissed me off about that was the reaction of the slatternly slut Ms Ed, the unappellated eohippus, the "Horse With no Name" primitive.

After Pamela got (temporarily) mausoleumed for a blatant violation of Skins's rules, the slutly slattern Ms Ed said there shouldn't be any repercussions, given that Pamela had been on Skins's island for a long time.

And another thing was the maudlin waif, the "Mythsaje" primitive, being so meek in accepting Pamela's stupid apology.

Maybe I could be reinstated.  I had several years and around 7,000 posts.  Most of the first few years were in the exercise and pets forums.

From what I've seen, the primitives think they are slick, but are too dumb to realize their writing patterns and other noticeable quirks carry right over to their 'new' names or sock puppet accounts, and they end up getting caught.

I'm guessing it was lonely in the exercise forum on Skin's Island.

Didn't Pam change her name because she was caught plagiarizing from that other DUmmy? Or was it because we were being mean to her here? I seem to recall one of those scenarios being correct.

Or was it because we were being mean to her here?

Surely you're thinking of someone else.

Nobody here in the DUmpster was ever mean to Pamela.

We're nice people here.

Telling the truth is considered mean by the primitives.

I'm not sure. Once she called some of you guys a bunch of pricks.

Now that she's dying, maybe you should let up on her.

She sure is taking her sweet old time with it, though, isn't she?

I'm guessing it was lonely in the exercise forum on Skin's Island.
And then one day I happened to find the fun poster now known as gNads, and discovered how much fun it was suggesting corrections to 'misstatements' and strange words that cannot be found in the dictionary.

Odd; I was just there, and you're right about the exercise forum.

It's been about as lively as a nursing home in the middle of the night.

I was over there looking for the Las Vegas Leviathan, to see if he's lit his campfire yet, the one he promised to.

Did he say he was going to light one in there?  I must have missed that.  I hope he tells us his new shoe size.
