I am only admitting this once. I can never stop watching The Breakfast Club...ever..doesn't matter when, where, etc. I am forever entranced. Sixteen Candles comes close, but I can actually unglue myself from that one if need be.

Ok, I now feel better.

you have a serious molly ringwald thing going, don't you? :-)

It wasn't that...just those movies were...well...peer oriented when they came out so I suppose they stuck with me. The music in both too take me back.

As for Molly, I've had my hair red as hers a good portion of my life...some kind of odd kindship...although mines bottled...it means I have all the redheaded perks minus the insanity they can be famous for.

blazing saddles is another one.  a friend of mine and I can rattle off virtually the entire movie from memory.

I can't watch that on TV. I have to watch the DVD. That movie just does NOT work censored.

You were studying? I hear you...although for me, it was surviving. Ahh, to have had those carefree days.

And I'll wipe a tear with you. Animal House is a good one.

Major Payne I can't turn off either.

Ditto, also add Some Kind of Wonderful.  I loved that movie!

I will never change the channel if Shawshank Redemption, Old School, The Wedding Singer, Sound of Music, or Kill Bill is on.

After a discussion with a friend over this very topic, I have to include Ben Hur and the 10 Commandments in there. I just can't flip the channel.

WE, Men in Black (1) was on last night.  I was thinking about you when it came on and started to watch it....BUT the movie "Funny Farm" with Chevy Chase was on too, so I was conflicted.  I went with Funny Farm.

Name's Ash--housewares.  Awesome.  Too bad Westpac 1994-95 ruined that movie for me.  It **IS** possible to see a movie too many times.

One I haven't been able to put down/away is Serenity.  So much so that the next four movies in my Netflix queue are the entire Firefly series.

And aside from that, the first Airplane! movie.  The scene with the golden retriever "attacking" the extra always has me rolling (more so since I had Rocky).

I thought it was okay for a sci-fi movie based on a half hour toy commercial cartoon.  But I haven't watched it 40 times.

Back to watching 'John Adams'.  These French people look like creepy aliens.
