transformers
« on: May 24, 2008, 04:57:39 PM »
every so often, a movie hits cable that totally gets into my head.  I have to watch it
every time I see it on the schedule.

men in black (the first one;  the second one was the ghey) and fight club are two, just
off the top of my head.  transformers is turning into one of them.  I can't seem to NOT
watch it when I see that it is on. :whatever:

I have no idea why. :-)

anyone else have these odd movie compulsions? :thatsright:

I have been replaying "Cloverfield" over and over in my head -- I am not quite sure why.

ANY movie of the Friday trilogy. I.e., Friday, Friday After Next, Next Friday.  :lmao:

Oh, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Bad part about it, I own all of these movies.

I liked dogma.  I didn't like the sequel as much.

What was the sequel?

Jay and Silent Bob was more of a sequel to Clerks.

Isn't it funny that Blazing Saddles could never be made today? Yet gross out movies about teens and sex is okay. Or the torture porn genre like Hostel. I don't get it. I must be getting old lol!

I can't think of any movies that I like to watch over and over. Which irks my husband because he's a movie fiend. I think we could start our own Netflix.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

The Matrix was one I watched for a few days when it hit PPV. It did'nt wear well though. It looked hokey back a few months ago when I watched it.

I thought the first matrix was good.  the next 13 (or whatever) got tedious. :whatever:  but it never turned into one of those movies that I can't NOT watch.

I still like the Matrix even after seeing it a dozen times.  The second two are okay -- I might not turn them off if them came on the TV.

The animated 'Animatrix' is really good.  Lots of back story.

I am only admitting this once. I can never stop watching The Breakfast Club...ever..doesn't matter when, where, etc. I am forever entranced. Sixteen Candles comes close, but I can actually unglue myself from that one if need be.

Ok, I now feel better.
