it's on again.  I swear, I don't know why I am watching this movie for the 40th time.

It's your Achilles’ heel.  WE don't fight it, just succumb to your needs.

it's a crappy movie.  although the chick is hot.

Yeah, I can't imagine what draws you to watch that movie compulsively.   :mental:

I thought it was okay for a sci-fi movie based on a half hour toy commercial cartoon.  But I haven't watched it 40 times.

Back to watching 'John Adams'.  These French people look like creepy aliens.

you missed our killer "john adams" thread here at CC.

it isn't all the chick.  the same thing happens with fight club and the first men in black, and there isn't really a chick in those movies.

Fight Club is all fighting, how could a guy *not* watch that!

And Men in Black, um hello, aliens, Tommy Lee Jones, a must see.

oh, that's right.  we even talked about the book vs. the series in that thread.

I was disappointed.  adams was perhaps THE founder of our country, and all we got
was him humping abigail.

Nice. You know, depending on what she transforms into of course.  :p
"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."
