Leave it to Stinkbait to stand up for the criminal and not the victim.
Typical liberal.
Even when when reporting it, he repeatedly stresses that the victim was a bully, as if that were the defining point of this whole thing.
He says that the main issue is bullying: What about the issue of a kid who was clearly mentally unstable and with warning signs yet which nobody (i.e. parents, teachers, etc.) did aything about before the shooting? That seems to be the case in a lot of these shootings over the last few years: The shooter was someone who was clearly disturbed and openly displaying a lot of the warning signs for violent behavior, and yet nobody did a blessed thing about it until it was far too late.
What about all the kids who were bullied (Myself included when I was a kid, in middle and ESPECIALLY high school) who DON'T shoot people or resort to other forms of violence?
Bullying is a problem, yes, one which I would love to see eradicated from our schools, but I think a more effective way of stopping such acts of violence is by spreading more awareness among kids, parents, and teachers of the warning signs that someone may be at risk of becoming violent, so that if someone begins demonstrating those signs, the others can recognize it and ensure that the person in question gets the help he or she needs in time. When I was in high school, they at one point distributed a pamphlet put out by 'Fight for Your Rights' (A kind of social- outreach program MTV sponsored in the late 90's to help regular teens take a stand against violence and crime) which listed the warning signs for kids who may be at risk for violence or suicide, offered advice and resources for helping them, etc.. I'd say bringing back something like that would be helpful.
btw, another cause of bullying is the control that liberalism has over our schools. Liberal teachers and administrators do next to nothing to try and discipline troublemaking kids and keep them under control, out of fear of "Harming their self- esteem" or "Stifling their creativity" or some crap like that, creating a consequence- free environment under which bullying thrives.
