When your venture eventually fails, and it will since your political beliefs are more important to you than the needs of your market, think back on this post and despair before kicking the chair under your feet away for your final neck-stretching exercise.

Effingham Performance Center, operated by Arts Connection of Central Illinois, a not-for-profit, 501c(3) organization.

501c(3) corporations are prohibited from partisan political activities. Wonder how the board would feel about losing its tax exemption?

Janey Oldfield, executive director = jorno67.

And it will be different from the "mustard gas" that comes downwind from Crookhicago on a regular basis I bet.

Ray Stevens is a country singer. Name a country singer, besides the Dixie Chicks, who are liberal moonbats? If there are any, they won't come out and say it because their sales would tank. The Country fans are majorly overwhelmingly conservative. You would think that with the DUmmies being so smart, he would have known that by now.

It is the same with Nascar. They are majority Republican/Conservative as well..

There's more than you think:

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill
Big (but not Rich)
Garth Brooks
Hell, even Merle Haggard has said some pro-Obama things.

I imagine there probably are, but they aren't saying anything because they know what it will do to their career. What happen with the Dixie Chicks put a scare into some of them.

Effingham is remembered by anyone travelling through Illinois on I-57 as the town with a gigantic cross beside the highway, visible for miles.

It does not look at all like a nest of moonbats, but apparently has at least two.

The sad thing about this likely wallduding is that all poor, stupid DUmpmonkey Janie Oldfield wanted to do was to brag about her lofty title.

Like Pam Dawson, she only wanted her fellow DUmmies to envy her station in life.

Her atrocious grammar betrays her as someone with very minimal education, so she's astounded and proud to find herself in such a job.

Now, she'll probably need to strap on her roller skates and apply for work at Sonic.

The only song I know of from him is 'Copperhead Road'. He was a one hit wonder. He does have a cult following, but I don't recall him stating his political beliefs?

He wasn't really a one-hit wonder. Copperhead Road seemed to get more heat than his previous stuff because it was somewhat cross promoted on both the country stations and rock stations. I think drugs cost him his record label after the fourth album and then things did start going down hill.

Guitar Town (the album) made it to number 1 on the US County chart.
Exit 0 made it to 15
Copperhead Road (the album) made it to 15.

All three of those albums had some great songs. More good songs, on average, than most albums being produced at the time.

His fourth album, The Hard Way, was kind of a mixed bag. I think this is when the drug use really started to catch up to him. Not long afterwards is when he went full moonbat.

Despite his moonbattiness he still can put out a good song every now and then.

I went to see him in Savannah during the Copperhead Road tour. He was good. He didn't talk politics.

Maybe they will take all the profits from the show and donate it to their favorite liberal cause.  That would be irony.  But somehow, I think they are in the business to make money.......Funny how that works.
You see, I don't care you how feel.  I really don't.  More importantly, neither does anyone else.  Only about 200 people on a planet of 7 billion actually care about your feelings, and that's if you're lucky.  The sooner you grasp this lesson, the better off you will be.  And since almost no one gives a damn what you do, say, think, or feel, appealing to your feelings when you encounter differences of opinion is not only illogical, but useless.

I wouldn't normally post a real name, but sometimes it is just too easy to crack the code of the DUmmies :).  Good job on your part too.

I really don't understand how they seem incapable of separating their professional lives from their political lives.  I don't care who you are ... if you walk into my place of business you are going to get the best possible service I can provide.  It's that simple.

In 12 and a 1/2 years I've only come across 2 people I absolutely could not work with and neither were politically motivated.

OH NO! SAY IT AIN'T SO! The Hag said something nice to say about "The Won". My world is crashing down.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

I usually don't let an artist's political belief keep me from listening to them. I don't recall Steve Earle ever stating his political beliefs. That is a good thing, because I go to a show to listen to an artist perform - I want to listen to the music, not listen to them tell my who to support or vote for. The second they started to do that, I would get up and walk out. Musicians should play music and shut up, and actors should play in the movies and shut up. It is a good thing I am a strong believer in the Freedom Of Speech, other wise, there would be a lot of music I wouldn't be listening to; and a lot of of movies I wouldn't be watching.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are liberals.  Toby Keith stated he voted for Obama in 2008.  Apart from that, the list probably gets pretty thin.

I never knew Tim McGraw and Faith Hill were liberals till I read this post. That tells me that they don't post it. I did see an interview with Toby saying that he was a democrat but switched to Republican. He was stating that the only reason he was a democrat was because his father was; and all the things that went on with the Gulf war turned him republican. He also said that he will never be voting Democrat again.

So Janie Oldfield is the radical left boss, and her semi-literate leftist flunky is Rich Jorn.

I wonder if their board of directors, or trustees, or whatever they're called are as far-left politically.

I'm sure their donors, who pay all the bills, are not.

One can hope the Effingham newspaper, or at least a LTTE, will question these two moonbats, and make Effingham residents who are considering a donation aware of what's going on.
